FLT Driver/ Materials Operative - Permanent position- Immediate start!

Staffing Match are proud to be working in partnership with a leading industrial company based in Blythe Valley, Solihull who are looking for FLT Drivers/ Materials Operative to join their team.

About the role as a LT Driver/ Materials Operative:

• FLT Drivers needed urgently
• You do not have to hold a License for this role but experience is required
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the Warehouse required
• Day shift available
• 38.5 hours per week
• Secure permanent position

Your responsibilities as a FLT Driver/ Materials Operative:

• Working in an extremely busy and fast paced environment

• Ensure The Warehouse Received product makes it from Goods In to the Storage location without delay, to reduce any production Line stoppages.

• Ensure The Wash Process is followed safely and support the correct process of materials to create kits ready to go to production lineside

• Ensure The Pre-washed Material is restocked at all times to meet the Shift Volumes. Highlight problems to Shift Supervisor

• Ensure All Material Movement is done in line with SAP Expectations and that Barcode scanning is followed for every movement to ensure Inventory Accuracy. This will be completed using Internal Label.

• Work with the Goods In & Production Team to ensure Kanban's are fulfilled in a timely manner to correct replenishment Area's without delay.

• Police the MHE & ensure its correct/safe handling at all times. Ensure pre-shift & end-shift checks are completed & equipment charging at all times

• Actively own the Stores Area Put away & picking & develop process that can support 100% on time material availability

• General warehouse duties

• Team player with a positive effect on the mood

• Able to work in a team environment or self-motivated & promote good practise

• The initiative to resolve and advise on problems as they arise to reduce production line stoppages

• Self managing of Roles & Responsibilities & attention to details "Lead By Example"

• Flexibility to suit operational requirements

• Must have good organisation skills, and be able to work within strict deadlines

• Accurate, with an eye for detail and have good communication skills

• Understanding of health and safety company expectation & continuous Improvement

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

• Experience is considered more relevant than formal qualifications although it is expected that candidates will display a desire for personal development through training..
• Narrow Aisle Forklift License preferred but not Mandatory as training will be given
• Counterbalance Forklift License preferred but not Mandatory as training will be given
• MHE Experience (Powered Pallet Trucks/Tug Trains/Small Train)FLT License desired but not mandatory.
• Experience in Stores Operation Techniques (Automated Kanban/Physical Kanban)
• MHE Trained (Tug-Small Train Operational certification) preferred but not mandatory as training will be given .

Start Date: Immediately

Hours: 38.5hrs p/wk

Shift: Current Dayshift Only. The Role does have the possibility to move into 2 shift pattern if/when more business is secured. If this happens then shift premium will be added to the stated annual salary communicated in advance.

Salary: £18,500-20,000*D.O.E*

Annual Leave: 25 days + Statutory Bank Holidays
