Duties and responsibilities:

Baggage Handlers / Ramp Agents are responsible for ensuring all passengers baggage is loaded and unloaded accurately and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading of customers baggage
• To deliver world class customer service
• Processing customers luggage
• Operating specialist equipment as required
• To comply with airport health and safety and security guidelines always

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Be physically fit and pass a medical
• Ideally have previous experience in a manual handling role
• To be able to work well within a team
• To be able to work in all weather conditions if your role is based outside / airside
• Have excellent organisation skills
• Be flexible in the shifts you can work

Hours of work:

• 30 hours per week plus overtime available

Requirements:

Due to the location of work being at Gatwick Airport you must be able to provide the following:5-year check-able work history, this does not need to be all UK experience, you also do not need to have been employed for a continuous 5 years we just need to verify whatever it is that you have been doing, this can cover unemployment periods, school etc.You must be able to provide valid photographic ID and willing to undertake a criminal record check
